(Sarasota, FL, November 2, 2009): The popular Reggae on the Bay event returns to the beautiful grounds of Marie Selby Botanical Gardens on Friday, November 6, 2009 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Live Reggae music will be featured by High Tide with a special appearance from Shamal on the main stage. Family fun includes prizes for best island attire, limbo contests, a bounce house and face painting for the kids. Beverages and Island-style food catered by Local Coffee + Tea will be available for purchase.
Tickets are $18 for non-member adults, $15 adult members, free for children 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased online at www.selby.org, or at the Selby Gardens Welcome Center, located at 900 South Palm Avenue, Sarasota, Florida from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. Free on-site parking is limited; additional parking is available at Sarasota’s bayfront park. Bring lawn chairs or blankets; no coolers, food or beverages may be brought into the Gardens.
