(January 5, 2009 - Sarasota, FL): Marie Selby Botanical Gardens will host a lecture by David W. Orr, PhD, Paul Sears Distinguished Professor of Environmental Studies and Politics, Oberlin College on January 24, 2009. The lecture “Some Like it Hot..Lots More Don’t: Climate Policy with the Obama Administration” will take place at the Gardens in the Great Room by the Bay at 3:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to hear the very latest climate change discussions between the nation’s top experts and the Obama Administration. A reception will follow the lecture.

Marie Selby Botanical Gardens is a respected center for research and education as well as a famous orchid showplace. The Gardens is located at 900 South Palm Avenue in Sarasota.
