Selby Gardens Presents Summer Camp Lookout 2011
Kids Love Connecting with Nature at Selby’s Summer Camp Lookout
[Sarasota, FL, February 3, 2011]: The Education Department at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens is again hosting a summer camp program for nature lovers ages 6 – 11. Our four, one-week sessions are filled with fun activities, art, exploration, games and visits by special guests. Sessions are masterfully crafted to ensure a safe, fun, and educational experience unlike any other program in the area. Campers will connect with the natural world through plant and garden exploration, artwork, digging in soil, and so much more! Each Friday at 3:00 p.m., families are invited to an entertaining presentation performed by the campers in the Great Room by the Bay.
Sessions are as follows:
- Session 1: Gardening Fun June 13 – 17
- Session 2: Coastal Kids June 20 – 24
- Session 3: Rainforest Friends June 27 – July 1
