The cabbage palm, a crucial species in many native plant communities is also a heavy-hitter of the nursery trade. Possibly only the Live Oak has played a greater role in the social history of Florida. Despite its natural and cultural importance, this species has been largely under-researched. Join Jono Miller for a discussion exploring several unresolved issues related to our state tree.
