From the Tree Tops to the Test Tube: Brazilian Botanists Share the Results of their Field Work

Enjoy tales of Brazil’s cultural and biological diversity with Selby research intern, Monica Bolson. Working with Dr. Toscano de Brito in the molecular lab since April, along with fellow intern, Patricia Barom, Monica will share results from their research which is part of their graduate studies at Brazil’s University in Curitiba. With the help of the interns, much progress has been made on Selby’s research of the Brazilian Pleurothallid orchid.
