Hours and Admission
The Gardens are open 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM every day, with the exception of Christmas Day. The Gardens closes at 3:00 PM on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve.

Daytime admission includes all outdoor gardens, Tropical Conservatory, Museum of Botany and the Arts, and the Garden Shop. See events details for special event ticket prices. Special rates are available for groups and schools.
Selby Gardens Members
Photo ID Required: Membership in the Gardens is non-transferable. Free admission is for member(s) named on the card(s). We keep our memberships affordable by preventing misuse of member cards, and we appreciate your assistance in showing your Photo ID.
Local Reciprocal Visitors
Photo ID is required. Members of participating local attractions receive free or reduced admission to Selby Gardens during designated months. These benefits extend only to the member(s) named on the membership card(s). View a list of participating attractions
American Horticultural Society
Photo ID is required. Members of the American Horticultural Society receive free or reduced admission. These benefits extend only to the member(s) named on the membership card(s). Handicap Accessibility
Marie Selby Botanical Gardens is handicap accessible. Complementary wheelchairs are available in the Welcome Center on a first-come, first-serve basis, and unfortunately cannot be reserved.
Pets, with the exception of service animals, are NOT allowed in the Gardens.

Dining in the Gardens
Sip a delicious latte on your stroll through the Gardens, or enjoy a delicious snack or lunch at Local Coffee + Tea, a quaint café in the historic Selby House built by Marie and Bill Selby.
The cafe is open everyday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (except Christmas Day) and offers scrumptious sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups, pastries and cookies, ice cream and other snacks. Locally roasted coffee and espresso drinks are featured along with a selection of teas, hot or iced and a variety of beer and wine. Please see our full Selby Cafe menu below.
Tea Tasting
Enjoy a great tea tasting opportunity in the tea room at the Carriage House everyday, with the exception of Christmas Day from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Local Coffee + Tea offers more than 25 loose leaf teas, and a wonderful selection of tea accessories for purchase. You will enjoy learning more about the origin, processing, preparation and health benefits of premium loose leaf teas.
Group Options
For groups touring the gardens, Local Coffee + Tea offers a special menu and other special accommodations. Local Coffee + Tea is available to cater events either at Selby Gardens or in the Sarasota area. Continental breakfast, large group coffees (up to 300 people), boxed lunches or light appetizers for an afternoon reception with beer, wine or champagne can all be arranged by contacting us.

The Garden Shop at Selby Gardens
The Garden Shop offers a diverse selection of gorgeous orchids, bromeliads, tropical plants, garden accessories, and a full array of botanical books. The Garden Shop also offers games, books, puzzles and gifts especially for children. Discover a variety of botanically-themed merchandise and jewelry. Custom-design arrangements can now be delivered to your doorstep if you live in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. Each sale helps to further the mission of the Gardens.
