Class Registration Policies
Tuition is due with registration. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, check or cash is accepted. Class sizes are limited. To ensure that the classes you want are not cancelled due to low enrollment, please register early. In the event that a class is cancelled by Selby Gardens, students will receive a full refund. Refunds due to student cancellation are subject to a $10.00 service charge. Cancellation made less than 72 hours prior to class time will be refunded only in the form of Community Class credit which is valid for 90 days. There are no make-up classes for students who miss a regular class session. Material lists mailed or emailed upon request. Register by mail, or call Marilynn Shelley at 366-5731, ext. 239.

Beginning Watercolor
Nov. 3, 10 & 17
3 Tues., 10 am – 2 pm
The basics of drawing, perspective and watercolor techniques are offered in this course. Work on basic drawing skills and create a beautiful watercolor painting. Materials list available.

Zen Watercolor Evening Workshops
I: Nov. 3, II: Nov. 4 and/or III: Nov. 5
One, two, or three sessions, 5:30 – 7:30 pm
The New York artist, whose enchanting watercolor images adorn the interpretive signage found throughout the Gardens, inspires novice and experienced students with her “Zen” painting techniques. Get comfortable with your brushes while capturing the simplicity of plants with various leaf forms. Capture Selby’s beautiful orchids, other tropical flowers, and even birds, butterflies and critters in Ms Ross’ Zen-like style. Take all three workshops or select the sessions “a la carte”.
