Anthurian Culture
Anthurium plants away from wind and direct sunlight; 20% to 30% filtered sunlight permitted. Temperatures 60 to 75 degrees. Humidity should be 60% to 80% with good air circulation. Where humidity is low, mist flowers and foliage daily.
Fertilize monthly with a balanced fertilizer such as Peters 20-20-20 or Osmocote. Fertilizer should contain organic supplements and minor elements.
If you live in a hot area such as Florida, moderate watering is necessary. Anthurium roots should always be slightly moist, but not sopping wet. Always use potting medium with excellent drainage properties.
